The Maratha MandaI's Arts & Commerce College, Khanapur is one of the many Educational Institutions run by the prestigious Maratha Mandal Belgaum established under the able leadership of Late Shri Nathajirao G. Halgekar. The Maratha Mandal was established in the year 1931 with the sole objective of providing quality education among the weaker section of the society by the dedicated trustees of Maratha Mandal Belgaum. The college was established in the year 1979 with a Noble Vision of promoting higher education in the rural area. At present the institution is marching ahead under the creative and dynamic leadership of Smt. Rajshree Nagaraju.
